’10 goals & 4 assists’ – West Ham have shown interest in decisive Serie A striker

Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia has caught the attention of both Everton and West Ham, as both clubs have reportedly expressed interest in a potential transfer deal for the 26-year-old, writes the SW.

Corriere dello Sport suggests that either club could make a move to sign him. Dia has been in fine form this season, impressing during his loan spell at Salernitana with ten goals and four assists in 24 games in Serie A.

Although the Italian side has the option to make his loan deal from Villarreal permanent in the summer, it seems increasingly likely that they will sell him for a profit instead.

Both Everton and West Ham have expressed interest in the player, who has been a decisive figure this season, and therefore, requests for him have been abundant. The player’s current market value is estimated to be at least €20m, but this could be considered a small sum for the two sides, who are eager to bolster their squads with a goal scorer for the upcoming season.

West Ham appear to be looking for a replacement for Gianluca Scamacca, who is expected to leave in the summer after struggling this season, and Dia may fit the bill. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, both clubs have expressed their interest in Dia to Salernitana.
