Everton considers a move for discarded Newcastle ace

Everton may be offered the chance to sign Newcastle winger, Allan Saint-Maximin as part of a swap deal for on-loan striker, Moise Kean according to recent reports, informs the VitalFootball

Moise Kean’s time at EFC can only be considered as very underwhelming since his signing from Juventus in 2019.

In his first season on Merseyside, he played 37 times but only managed to score 4 goals, with his first coming in a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United at Goodison Park.

He joined PSG on loan shortly after and, surprisingly, had a very good season in France, scoring 17 times in 41 appearances, with 3 of these coming in the Champions League and one of these coming against Barcelona at Camp Nou.

After returning from his loan deal, he then joined Juventus (again) but this time on a 2-year-loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of it. However, the Italian giants have recently been in negotiation with Everton to attempt to reduce a fee, leading the club to assess other potential suitors for the 22-year-old.

According to the Daily Express, Newcastle United are keen on signing the Italian striker but could sacrifice star winger, Allan Saint-Maximin in order to complete a deal [via Liverpool Echo].

The Frenchman has been struggling for consistent game time this season, only making the starting line-up 4 times in the Premier League and only managing 1 goal.

This recent lack of game time could perhaps spur a move away from the Magpies in January and with Everton’s severe lack of depth in forward areas, this could be the perfect deal for the blues.
