Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers has claimed that Everton could be keen on signing Niclas Fullkrug in the January transfer market, writes the TIF.
Heading into the break for the 2022 World Cup, the Toffees hadn’t been playing the best football. As a result, they currently sit just one point and one place above the relegation zone.
With that in mind, it seems quite likely that Frank Lampard will want some reinforcements in the winter window and one man who seems to be earning the interest of some Premier League teams is Werder Bremen forward Fullkrug.
Indeed, after catching the eye with two goals and one assist in Qatar with Germany, it seems as though Everton could be among the clubs chasing him this January.
While speaking on All Together Now about strikers that could be signed by the Toffees in the upcoming transfer window, Myers said of Fullkrug: “He came on, scored a couple of goals for Germany in one of the games and looks really lively.
“And I know there’s definitely a lot of interest in the Premier League for him. Whether it comes or not, I don’t know.
“I’d watch that one.”
