‘I know’ – Journalist Dean Jones hints at big West Ham U-turn after Sullivan input

Journalist, Dean Jones has given his verdict on the future of West Ham United star, Manuel Lanzini, writes the TIF.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones claimed that David Sullivan is a ‘big fan’ of the Argentine and feels he’s an ‘important member’ of the squad.

Lanzini spent a season on loan and then joined the Hammers in 2016 for a fee of around £9 million. The 29-year-old has made 217 appearances for West Ham in all competitions.

One of his finest moments in an Irons shirt came in a 3-3 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in 2020, after being 3-0 down, Lanzini scored an absolute screamer to bring them back level.

Jones stated, “I know that Sullivan is a big fan of Lanzini and he feels that he is still a really important member of this squad.

“With that in mind, I just don’t think West Ham will lose him halfway through the season.”
