Journalist drops three names on possible Moyes replacements

West Ham United will not lure Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino or Marcelo Bielsa to the London Stadium, says journalist Dean Jones, as relays the GMS.

However, if the Hammers do end up sacking David Moyes, Jones thinks there will be plenty of other managers who will be interested in replacing the Scotsman.

It has been a difficult season for Moyes and his team so far, putting him under immense pressure in east London.

The Hammers’ 2-0 defeat against Brentford last Friday was their fifth straight loss in the Premier League, leaving them in 17th.

West Ham are firmly in a relegation battle, but having finished seventh last season and reached the Europa League semi-finals, it looks like Moyes still has some credit left in the bank.

Jones doubts West Ham will land Tuchel, Pochettino or Bielsa if they do end up needing a new manager. However, he still thinks the London Stadium job is an appealing one.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, the journalist said: “They might be the only three names that I don’t think they’ll get, to be honest. I think that a lot of people would be interested in this job.”
