West Ham United make approach to sign 10-goal striker from the French league

West Ham United have made an enquiry about Nigerian striker Terem Moffi, who currently plays for Lorient, according to ExWHUEmployee, writes the WestHamZone.

The Irons have been scouting the French leagues recently and Lorient, in particular, with the 23-year-old emerging at the top of the club’s radar.

So far this season, Moffi has netted 10 goals in France’s top division to help Lorient into a high-flying sixth place after 17 matches.

“We have been watching Lorient in France recently with Ibrahima Kone and especially Terem Moffi-who the club have enquired about, drawing attention,” ExWHUEmployee said via Patreon.

“Moffi is a Nigerian international and started his footballing journey at Buckswood Football academy in England. He has other clubs interested in him including Southampton but the situation is being monitored.

“The forward’s agent has been pushing his move to a number of English clubs and we are monitoring the situation.”

David Moyes is on thin ice at the London Stadium and he needs the board to back him in January or he could easily lose his job.

Moffi seems to be the player the Scot is most interested in right now and if there is some spare cash floating about then the Hammers had may as well spend it.
