Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has stated that Tottenham can quite easily qualify for the Champions League this season, beating teams such as Arsenal and Manchester United of London.
Talking on Overlap, pundit predicted that the team from North London would take third place in the standings at the end of the season. He added that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United will fight for a place in the top four.
Spurs have not lost a single game this season under Antonio Conte and intend to continue their winning streak. At the moment the team is in third place in the table. Only Manchester City and Arsenal are above them.
Tottenham will begin their journey in the Champions League today, and Neville is confident that the club will return here next season from the third place.
Hopes of winning the Champions League are not particularly high, but nonetheless, Spurs are capable of trying that every season in a row with Antonio Conte. The team can move closer and closer to the coveted silverware.
When asked about the race for the Champions League, Neville gave a very lucid answer:
“For United or Arsenal to get Champions League, and look they could get Champions League, but I think it’s between Chelsea, Arsenal and United. I think Tottenham will finish in the top three still. ”
Tottenham have had a brilliant start to the season. Spurs will soon be tested by the game against Manchester City, where Antonio Conte must show why Tottenham want the cherished trophy and a place in the top four.
