‘He is a recipe for disaster’: O’Hara not happy with Tottenham defender on £65,000-a-week salary

Jamie O’Hara has criticized Tottenham central defender Davinson Sanchez. Talking on talkSPORT, the former Spurs player said it was his mistake that led to Leicester City’s goal in the opening minutes of the league match.

Six minutes from the start of the match, the team from North London conceded a goal. The reason for this was a penalty, earned by James Justin.

The culprit of the episode was Sanchez, because James Justin was on the line of the penalty and didn’t even come close to the goal, but the defender decided to do it his way. It was a very bad decision for the Colombian player.

Youri Tielemans took the penalty kick and the Spurs goalkeeper made the save, but with an infringement as he stepped over the line. It was decided to take another penalty kick, in which Tielemans did not miss.

After the episode, the former Tottenham player O’Hara criticized the Colombian center-back.

“Davinson Sanchez, why is he playing? He is a recipe for disaster. That’s what he is. He will get the team in the trouble, every single week. I don’t know why we keep picking him.”
