Tony Scott has revealed on the latest All Together Now podcast that Conor Coady is seen as a great person in and around the dressing room for Everton, writes the TIF.
Coady was drafted into Goodison park o loan over the summer, despite having turned out for their city rivals at the start of his career, but he’s made a blistering start to life with Everton having started six games and already become a vice-captain to Seamus Coleman.
It’s no surprise that since bringing in both Coady and James Tarkowski that Everton have managed to tighten up at the back and now in fact boast the second-best defence in the entire Premier League.
However, it’s not just what he’s bringing on the pitch, but also the impact he’s having in the dressing room which is huge for Everton, as Scott has spoken about.
He said: “I think Conor Coady has been absolutely brilliant since he’s been here in a short space of time, he’s got his two lads who are currently playing for Everton, he’s adapted to life really well.
“From what I’m hearing, the staff absolutely love him, the players love him, he’s a massive influence in the dressing room. He’s only on loan, he’s played three to four games for us and he’s captain – it’s absolutely unheard of.”
