The Daily Mail have claimed that Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski is expected to be out of action for at least two weeks, relays the SpursWeb.
It emerged a couple of days ahead of the North London derby on Saturday that Kulusevski was a doubt for the clash with a suspected muscle injury (The Evening Standard).
It was explained that the winger reported some tightness in his hamstring after returning to Hotspur Way from international duty.
The Swede was not part of Tottenham’s matchday squad for the clash at the Emirates, and the Lilywhites certainly missed the former Juventus man’s attacking thrust as they fell to their first defeat of the Premier League season.
Conte told BT Sport (1/10/22, 11:30 am) ahead of the clash on Saturday, that it was still unclear just how bad Kulusevski’s injury was.
The Mail have now asserted that the 22-year-old’s hamstring problem is expected to put him out of action for at least two weeks.
That means that the winger could potentially miss Tottenham’s home and away games against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League as well as their Premier League clashes against Brighton and Everton.
