‘A precise business plan’ – Ogbonna drops biggest hint about Moyes future

Angelo Ogbonna has provided the strongest indication yet regarding the future of David Moyes as the manager of West Ham United next season, writes the HammerNews. Speculation has been rife about Moyes potentially leaving West Ham at the end of the season, and Ogbonna shed some light on what might transpire after the Europa Conference League final.

With the opportunity to conclude the 2022/23 season on a high note by clinching our first major trophy in 43 years just two days away, it appears that the 60-year-old manager will be granted more time by the club’s board. In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, the 35-year-old West Ham defender discussed our season so far and indicated that all the signings made since last summer were part of a long-term strategy.

“Seven new players have arrived, some with no experience in the Premier League, such as Scamacca, held back by an injury, and Paqueta: it was a year of transition, but with a precise business plan, which gives the coach time.”
