Chelsea have confirmed four further players have departed the club this summer following the expiry of their contracts at the end of this month, writes the Chelsea News.
After the loss of Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid on a free transfer, Chelsea have now confirmed the departure of Andreas Christensen, bringing to an end his 10 years at the club, with the Danish international set to join Barcelona.
In addition, Chelsea confirmed they have released Danny Drinkwater, Charly Musonda and Jake Clarke-Salter.
Danny Drinkwater signed in 2017 and made a total of 23 appearances, but spent most of his time on loan.
Charly Musonda struggled throughout his time with long-term injuries and was sent out on loan three times. He made a total of seven first-team appearances.
Jake Clarke-Salter’s time as a Blue has also come to a stop. The centre-back has been on Chelsea’s books for 16 years, but failed to break into the first-team and was sent out on loan a handful of times.
