After securing Danjuma deal Everton now shift focus to striker signing

Everton’s pursuit of Almeria striker El Bilal Toure remains alive, as confirmed by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano in a recent update on Twitter, relays the Everton.News. The 21-year-old Malian international is in high demand, with Serie A side Atalanta also expressing keen interest in his services.

Negotiations between Atalanta and Almeria are currently underway, with the Italian club eager to secure the young forward’s signature. Meanwhile, Manchester United is expected to bid for Atalanta’s striker Rasmus Hojlund, adding another layer of urgency to Atalanta’s pursuit of Toure.

Despite Atalanta’s strong interest, Everton is not giving up on their pursuit of the talented striker. However, the Toffees need to act swiftly if they want to secure Toure’s signature, as Atalanta is determined to finalize the deal.

Everton’s interest in Toure is not without reason. The team struggled with goals last season, finishing as the Premier League’s second-lowest scorers and narrowly avoiding relegation. Toure’s impressive record of seven goals and two assists in a struggling Almeria side speaks volumes about his potential to bolster Everton’s attack.

While Atalanta’s appeal lies in offering European football, the chance to play in the prestigious Premier League might sway Toure’s decision in favor of a move to Goodison Park.

As the competition for Toure’s signature heats up, Everton will need to act decisively and convincingly present their case to the young striker. With the need for attacking firepower evident, securing Toure’s services could prove to be a crucial step towards a stronger and more competitive Everton side in the upcoming season.
