‘Amazing’ – Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has praised £22m Chelsea player

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has praised his Chelsea counterpart Edouard Mendy on BBC Sport after the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday, writes the HITC.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool beat Premier League rivals Chelsea on penalties in the final of the FA Cup.

The FA Cup final finished goalless after extra time, and Liverpool won the penalty shootout 6-5.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson did well during 120 minutes and also saved Mason Mount’s penalty in the shootout.

After the match, the Brazil international has praised Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy for his performance at Wembley.

Alisson said on BBC Sport: “I am so happy. Myself and also Mendy did amazing saves.

“I couldn’t have done the saves without the help of the team. They work well and make it easier for me.”

In our opinion, Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy played well against Liverpool in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

It is not easy to keep the Liverpool attackers at bay, and the £22 million goalkeeper (Sky Sports) did just that.

Mendy made an excellent one-on-one save to deny Liverpool forward Luis Diaz and was always a solid pair of hands between the posts for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

The Chelsea star also stopped Liverpool forward Sadio Mane from scoring in the shootout.

Mendy was one of the best players on the pitch at Wembley and did not deserve to end up on the losing side.
