‘Between £13 and 17£ million’ – Everton given boost in pursuit of La Liga winger

There is a possibility that Everton may get another opportunity to sign Samuel Chukwueze, a winger from Villarreal, during the upcoming summer transfer window. This is due to the uncertainty surrounding the Nigerian international’s future in Spain, writes the LiverpoolEcho.

During the previous summer window, Chukwueze was rumored to be moving to Everton, but the deal did not come to fruition, and he stayed in La Liga. Despite this, Chukwueze has had a successful season, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists for his team.

However, he will become a free agent next year, which could force Villarreal to sell him unless they can come to an agreement regarding a new contract.

According to a recent report by AS, Villarreal is in a quandary over their next move regarding Samuel Chukwueze, who they came close to selling during the summer transfer window after generating interest from Everton.

AS suggests that selling the 23-year-old player cannot be discounted if a reasonable offer is made, and he is valued between €15million (£13.3m) and €20m (£17.7m). Additionally, as the player’s future remains uncertain, the club may explore the option of extending his contract, anticipating a hectic summer regarding his potential transfer.
