‘Big decision’ will be made on West Ham man at the end of the season, Dean Jones

According to journalist Dean Jones, the future of West Ham United manager David Moyes remains uncertain and will not be determined until the end of the current season, informs the TBR.

Although Moyes’ first tenure as manager of West Ham was less successful and ended with his dismissal after 31 games, his second stint has been much more prosperous, having led the team to European football for two consecutive seasons. Despite this achievement, some of the club’s supporters are calling for his ousting due to their current struggle to avoid relegation. As the team is currently only four points away from the bottom, the next few weeks are crucial for their survival, raising questions about Moyes’ future with the club beyond this season.

Despite West Ham’s ongoing battle against relegation, they are still competing in the Europa Conference League, indicating that the club has a lot to play for. According to journalist Dean Jones, Moyes’ future at the club remains uncertain, and a decision on his position will likely not be made until the end of the season. Jones believes that while Moyes has had success in securing European football for the team, the club must consider whether they can enter another season with him as manager.

“I still don’t think he’s out of the woods yet. I think there are still going to be decisions to make as this season wears on. But ultimately, I think the big decision will be made at the end of this season.

“Can they go into another campaign with David Moyes as manager? That’s what they have to ask themselves at West Ham and whether this is worthwhile.”
