Everton defender now out with muscular abrasion, and may miss Bournemouth game

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Everton defender Vitalii Mykolenko is unlikely to be available due to a muscular injury, and there are doubts about his fitness for the match against Bournemouth, writes the GN.

The injury expert states that the lack of clarity regarding the nature and severity of the injury makes it challenging to determine his availability. Sean Dyche mentioned that Mykolenko did not participate in training before the Wolves game over the weekend, so it remains uncertain whether he will be fit enough to play against Bournemouth on May 28.

In an exclusive interview with Goodison News, Dr. Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Science, mentioned that the information he has received indicates that Mykolenko has a thigh injury.

“The information I’ve seen is that he has a thigh injury. This sounds muscular but that could be a plethora of specific injuries, hamstring, quad, hip flexor, etc) so it’s hard to give a best or worst-case scenario but he may miss out or may even be back.”
