Everton Eye Free Agent Striker Che Adams as Transfer Window Nears

Everton are reportedly targeting Southampton striker Che Adams on a free transfer this summer, according to a recent report by i news. Adams’ contract with the Saints expires at the end of the season, making him an attractive option for the Toffees who are likely to prioritize free agents due to financial constraints.

This isn’t the first time Everton have shown interest in Adams. The Scottish forward was heavily linked with a move to Goodison Park last summer as well, but the club ultimately opted for Beto instead.

However, Adams’ strong performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with 16 goals in 39 Championship games this season, particularly impressing with 6 goals in his last 8 appearances.

While Southampton are currently pushing for promotion back to the Premier League, they may face competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers who are also reportedly interested in Adams.

Everton will need to convince the striker that Goodison Park is the best destination for him despite the relegation concerns that surrounded the club last season.
