Everton midfielder Allan has picked up a slight muscular injury after the defeat against Manchester City over the weekend.
The Brazilian is said to have seen his training schedule hampered by the blow at Finch Farm ahead of the clash with Brentford.
The Bobble shared the news on Thursday but insisted that Allan is yet to be ruled out of the game with the Londoners.
Writing on their official Twitter account, the Bobble shared the crushing news that no one was wanting to hear right now.
“Everton’s Allan picked up a slight muscular knock at Manchester City, which has disrupted his training schedule this week,” they said.
“Allan is yet to be ruled out for Sunday’s trip to Brentford.”
You’ve got to be kidding us.
How many more injuries can one side pick up in the Premier League? In Everton’s case, it appears to be going through the entire squad.
Richarlison is already missing this one through suspension, so having another Brazilian ruled out would be another hammer blow.
Add that to the problems of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Demarai Gray to name a few, and the problems are huge.
Rafa Benitez can’t win right now at Goodison Park, with major complaints about current form, but what more can he do with what is available to him?
We are keeping everything crossed that Allan can recover in time, if not, we may be waving goodbye to yet another three points in the Premier League.
