Everton midfielder Allan has suggested that he wants to stay at the Merseyside club for a long time.
The 30-year-old joined the club last season, signed by former Toffees manager, Carlo Ancelotti.
The Brazilian made a strong impression last season and has been outstanding under Rafael Benitez so far.
Allan has hailed the Everton fans as “incredible”, and he is bowled over by the passion generated by the supporters.
He is also enjoying his life in the city. It seems he is settled in England and has admitted that he wants to stay here for a long time.
“And it keeps getting better. It is wonderful to play at a full Goodison Park, our fans are incredible, you feel their passion and it makes you want to give everything for them,” said Allan to the club’s website.
“We can also see more of the city and the area where we live and this adds to the fantastic experience.
“Everton is a great football club. I want to be here for a long time and make my name as part of a team that brings success for the supporters and the people who work for the club.”
Allan has made 11 appearances in the Premier League under Benitez, and he has been one of the most consistent players for the Toffees.
Averaging 3 tackles per game, he is the first choice for the Spaniard for the defensive midfield role.
Allan’s form dipped for a while after the injury to Abdoulaye Doucoure, but he returned to his best against Tottenham Hotspur.
He has a contract at the club till 2023, and it remains to be seen whether the Toffees would be willing to hand him an extension.
Judging by the way he is playing at the moment, it seems he can continue at this level for another 3-4 years easily.
Everton will face Manchester City away from home in their next game. The Toffees failed to win their last five games in the Premier League, and they need to improve on their results after the international break.
