Everton young talent edging towards exit after 12 years at Goodison Park

Everton midfielder, Isaac Price, is on the verge of leaving the club as his contract expires in June, reports the LiverpoolWorld.

The 19-year-old has been a part of the Toffees since he was seven years old, but is now set to seek new opportunities elsewhere. Price has made three appearances for the Everton first team, two of which were in the Premier League. He has also featured in 24 games for the Everton under-21s this season, contributing with four goals and three assists. This has led to him being called up to the Northern Ireland senior squad and making his debut as a substitute in a 2-0 victory over San Marino.

According to the Daily Mail, Isaac Price has reportedly come to the decision that Everton is not the right place for him to further his development and is nearing an exit from the club. Standard Liege, a Belgian side, is said to be on the verge of securing his signature. Everton manager Sean Dyche confirmed that talks have been ongoing regarding Price’s future and that they are considering their options. As Price is under the age of 23, Everton will be entitled to a compensation fee if he does end up signing with Liege.

Dyche said: “Just ongoing discussions because I’m pretty new to it really, here I mean. Chatting to the right people at the right time and see how it develops. Over the next few weeks, we’ll look at it more deeply and in more detail. All the players know their situation.”
