ExWHUemployee: West Ham are ‘big admirers’ of Chelsea duo

ExWHUEmployee has revealed that West Ham United has a keen interest in Chelsea duo Conor Gallagher and Callum Hudson-Odoi ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, writes the WHZ.

Gallagher, who has started only 15 Premier League games this season, has struggled to secure regular playing time at Stamford Bridge. Similarly, Hudson-Odoi, 22, has spent the season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.

According to a previous report by TalkSPORT on May 29, West Ham has been made aware of the potential availability of Gallagher, and it is believed that a fee of £40 million could secure his services. The Hammers view both players with great admiration and are considering them as potential additions to their squad.

“With the arrival of Pochettino this summer, there are players that are being made available by them as they undertake a clear-out,” Ex said on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“Players to keep an eye on are Conor Gallagher and Callum Hudson-Odoi as we are known to be big admirers. The fact they are set to be moved on is a big appeal to West Ham.

“However, I must stress that with a lot of uncertainty at present with our manager’s future, a possible new Director of Football appointment, European football next season and our captain’s future currently unknown – any target list will not be confirmed once things settle down.”
