‘Give him a run’ – Pundit tells Moyes to offer a chance to the player who’s only started 11 games

West Ham is in a dangerous position before their Sunday match against Southampton, and according to pundit Frank McAvennie, manager David Moyes should give a chance to one of his players to step up, writes the COS.

Given McAvennie’s experience finding the net for the Hammers, his advice should not be taken lightly. Moyes could use all the help he can get to avoid falling to the bottom of the table.

Although the team has players who can help them out of trouble, there appears to be a gap between Moyes’ expectations and the performance of his players on the pitch. McAvennie’s solution is straightforward.

Frank McAvennie spoke exclusively on West Ham Zone: “I’d give (Gianluca) Scamacca a run,”

“I know people will say something, but I’d give him a run. Because he’s going to be there for a while. Unless we get relegated or we don’t play him and he wants to get away.

“I can see Scamacca and Paqueta. They had something going then they got injured. Paqueta sits a bit deeper and that’s where he wants to play, but Moyes wants to play him in the number ten position. They’ve got to sort it out.”
