‘He was excellent’ – Aaron Cresswell insists West Ham have made a terrific summer signing

In the aftermath of West Ham’s win over Manchester United, Aaron Cresswell openly expressed his admiration for Thilo Kehrer, his fellow teammate, writes the HammerNews.

Kehrer, who was acquired from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022 for a fee of £10 million, is now expected to play a crucial role in the team due to Vladimir Coufal’s long-term injury. Cresswell, who spoke to the club’s official website, praised Kehrer’s dedication, enthusiasm, and affection for the Hammers, stating that these qualities are unquestionable.

Cresswell told WHUFC.com:

“It’s always a tough transition when you bring in eight or nine players and, certainly for the boys who have come from abroad, it takes time for them to settle in. It’s a new language, a new team, a new everything. We knew it would be tough but I think this game, some of the performances from the new lads…Thilo Kehrer was excellent.”
