‘I’m quite happy with that’ – Moyes believes West Ham have turned the corner

Ahead of the upcoming match against Arsenal, David Moyes is optimistic about West Ham’s recent performances.

As informs the C&H, the team’s wins against Forest, Saints and Fulham have given them some breathing space in the relegation battle, although the Newcastle defeat was a forgettable one. A positive result against Arsenal would give the team a much-needed confidence boost as they approach the end of the season, with tough fixtures against Liverpool and Manchester City still to come.

Despite Arsenal being a difficult opponent, especially after their draw with Liverpool, Moyes remains confident that the team is on the right track. When asked if he feels he’s turning things around, Moyes responded positively, saying, “I do. I think we are. I think we’re in a much better run of form.”

“Were a bit up and down in some games, but overall if I took out the Newcastle game and the Brighton game, which I can’t take out, I’d think that defensively we’ve been pretty solid, we’ve won a few games, so I’m quite happy with that.”

Moyes added: “The fans have been huge for us over many seasons. These have been the games in which we’ve needed them and hopefully we get the backing of them again this week.”
