Journalist Pete O’Rourke believes a ‘special player’ Everton want to sign could fix a lot of problems

According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, the potential transfer of Iliman Ndiaye to Everton this summer could address their issues in front of goal, writes the FFC.

The Sheffield United forward is being monitored by several clubs, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared on Twitter that Ndiaye is expected to make a big move in the summer, with Everton among the interested clubs along with some Italian teams.

According to reports, Everton are interested in signing Iliman Ndiaye in the upcoming transfer window, with his versatility making him an attractive option due to his ability to play as a central striker, on the flank, or in attacking midfield. However, they face competition from West Ham and Newcastle, who have also sent scouts to watch him play.

AC Milan is also reportedly interested in the Senegalese international, who has scored 14 goals and provided nine assists from 48 appearances in all competitions in the 2022/23 season. Journalist Pete O’Rourke believes that Ndiaye could be a valuable addition to Everton’s squad if they manage to avoid relegation.

O’Rourke told FFC: “I think it would be a bit of a shrewd buy. Ndiaye, for me, is one of the best young players outside the Premier League right now as well; he’s a Senegal international, one of the best players in the Championship and has been key to Sheffield United’s success this season as well.

“I think a number of clubs have been making regular checks on him, but with Sheffield United winning promotion to the Premier League, I can’t imagine they will be too keen on listening to any offers for Ndiaye.”
