“Just £11m…” – Tottenham in the mix for attractively priced Premier League winner

The January window looks like it could make a break from tradition and be a busy period for Tottenham, a club that suddenly has a number of loose ends poking out of Hotspur Way. Dele Alli can’t buy more than a Premier League cameo appearance, and the Gareth Bale project doesn’t seem to have any sense of direction.

According to the Leicester Mercury which carried quotes from Foxes’ gaffer Brendan Rodgers, Demarai Gray is hoping for a January exit, and the club would prefer to sell him in the winter opposed to watch him walk for free in the summer.

Rodgers is saying all the right things about the boy, he’s training well, blah blah blah. Much the same line that is being peddled about Dele Alli with us. Perhaps they should swap clubs? Who knows.

Transfermarkt values the boy at £10.8million, which for a 24-year-old represents good value. The real question is whether Mourinho wants him.
