‘Over to you Jose’ – Some Spurs fans lavish praise on Daniel Levy
Tottenham Hotspur already had a pretty impressive transfer window prior to yesterday, with six new additions being brought in before the European transfer window closed.

All six players helped address key areas of weaknesses in the squad, with Jose Mourinho even labelling Daniel Levy “a genius” for some of the deals he pulled off (Football.London).
Central defence was arguably the only area of the pitch Spurs were a little short in and the North Londoners seem to have addressed that problem with the deadline day acquisition of Joe Rodon from Swansea City.
The 22-year-old is rated by many as one of the best prospects in the Championship and has already become a regular for the Welsh national side.
Reports indicate that Spurs have agreed on a deal for the centre-back worth £11 million plus add-ons (BBC Wales’ Gareth Vincent), which certainly seems like a massive bargain based on the apoplectic reaction from some Swansea fans.
Levy has often been on the receiving end of plenty of criticism from the Tottenham fan base but there was nothing but praise for 58-year-old on social media after Spurs secured Rodon, with many admitting that they were wrong to question the Tottenham chairman’s ambition.
Who are you and what have you done with the real Daniel Levy.
Never been a fan but certainly can’t be the scapegoat of our 2020/21 season.

With Joe Rodon’s signing, we can say that Daniel Levy and José Mourinho have combined for a 10/10 transfer window for Spurs. First time we have shown such focus and ambition in the transfer market. We addressed all of the problems in the squad and look serious now, exciting times!

Shrewd business in a very difficult window. Improved the starting 11 and squad depth in areas we desperately had to address. Credit to Levy, Jose now has a squad to compete on all fronts. Excited for the season ahead of us, COYS 💪💙 #THFC
