Paulo Dybala’s agent has touched down in England to discuss a potential transfer for his client to a Premier League club, with Tottenham interested in the striker.
According to Corriere dello Sport via TuttoMercatoWeb, Jorge Antun has landed in the United Kingdom to speak to English teams about Dybala, who is set to leave Juventus at the end of this season when his contract expires.
With a reported wage of £220,000-a-week, Dybala is one of the best-paid players in world football and will be on the radar of multiple top clubs in Europe, with Tottenham one of the sides keen on signing the Serie A superstar.
TuttoMercatoWeb have previously reported this week that Tottenham have already been in touch with Dybala’s entourage over a potential transfer, with the likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid making similar approaches in the past few days.
And now, with the agent in England, Tottenham have the chance to sell their pitch to Dybala’s agent on why the north London club will be the ideal club to join this summer, with the Premier League side one of the favourites to land the attacker.
Indeed, Spurs are looking at signing a forward this summer, and given Dybala’s pedigree and achievements in Italy, the South American is the type of player Antonio Conte wants at Tottenham, with the Italian manager someone the striker could work well under.
Dybala’s future is one of the most interesting narratives that will unfold this summer, and Tottenham could be the side to win the race for the superstar striker if they can sell the Conte project to the player’s agent.
With the former Inter coach desperate to get Tottenham back to the top and to win silverware, a signing like Dybala will be an incredible statement of intent for supporters, and Conte’s enthusiasm could persuade the Argentine to join the north London side.
