Report: David Moyes wants Rice to join another PL club over Arsenal

Rarely do West Ham United have the opportunity to sell one of their players for a record fee, let alone have their manager attempt to influence the player’s destination, but that seems to be the case with David Moyes and Declan Rice, writes the COS.

The Hammers’ captain and influential figure has expressed his desire to move on this summer, which undoubtedly disappoints many connected with the club. However, his immense contribution to West Ham cannot be doubted.

Rice has always led by example, and their triumph in the Europa Conference League final was a well-deserved reward for his dedication to the team from East London.

Moyes can also take great pride in his own role in guiding the team to success in the European competition, marking West Ham’s most memorable night in 43 years since Billy Bonds lifted the FA Cup at Wembley in 1980.

Nevertheless, this partnership is likely to come to an end soon, and Moyes hopes that another club will enter the bidding process, offering the East Londoners an opportunity to negotiate a deal.

According to The Sun, Moyes desires his captain to join Chelsea so that he can secure Conor Gallagher as part of the deal. However, the report also mentions that Rice has no intention of rejoining the West London club, as he has already set his sights on joining Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal project.
