According to the Daily Mail, West Ham’s summer signing Gianluca Scamacca has been accused of not putting in the required effort during the club’s training sessions. Scamacca has failed to meet expectations since his move from Sassuolo in the summer.
As reports the COS, a West Ham source recently mentioned that Scamacca appears to have “chucked it” in training and is no longer showing the necessary effort or desire, especially as David Moyes’ side find themselves in a relegation battle.
The Mail notes that Paris Saint-Germain were also interested in Scamacca last summer, and he joined the Hammers with the belief that they were a team on the rise, following a few impressive years under Moyes.
Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as planned for Scamacca, and it appears that he has lost faith in the West Ham project. Moreover, David Moyes seems to have doubts about the Italian international as well, as he was left on the bench during the team’s draw with Aston Villa over the weekend.
