Romano now confirms that crucial days ahead as Everton eye new striker deal

According to Fabrizio Romano, Everton is among the Premier League clubs interested in signing Sheffield United striker Iliman Ndiaye, a target they have been keen on since April, relays the GoodisonNews.

Romano has also mentioned Marseille as another club showing interest in Ndiaye, and crucial developments are expected in the pursuit of the player.

Everton’s need for a striker has been evident, and the club has been linked to Ndiaye since June, with rumors circulating that Sheffield United may be open to selling him this summer. Given Everton’s mixed track record in the transfer market, the club is looking for deals with low risk and high potential reward.

Ndiaye offers a unique playing style that sets him apart from other potential strikers. He showcased his versatility by contributing 14 goals and 11 assists in the Championship last season, proving his ability to make an impact across different aspects of the game. Additionally, his strong work ethic aligns well with Sean Dyche’s preferred style.

Ndiaye ranks among the top performers in the Championship in terms of tackles, blocks, and successful take-ons, making him an excellent fit for Everton’s needs in the forward position.
