Romano shares recent update about Declan Rice situation at West Ham United

According to Fabrizio Romano, Declan Rice has a high chance of leaving West Ham in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, the deciding factor in which club he chooses to join will depend on the project and potential for winning titles.

The 24-year-old midfielder has garnered significant interest from top Premier League clubs, as his contract with West Ham expires in just over a year. Rumors have persistently linked Rice to his former youth club Chelsea, but Arsenal has also emerged as a strong contender in the race to sign him.

Romano told in his CaughtOffside column:

“I’m told Rice has very, very good chances to leave in the summer. The project at his next club is absolutely crucial for Rice, he wants to win titles and to feel like an important player, he doesn’t want a big club and then only sit on the bench… he wants to be an important player.

“I love Rice. In my opinion, he’s a top top player. I’m sure he will be a regular starter wherever he decides to go.”
