Fabrizio Romano reports that West Ham are getting ready to make their initial move to secure the signing of Joao Palhinha, the Fulham midfielder, informs the WHZ.
Palhinha, 27, recently joined the West London team from Sporting Lisbon, signing a five-year deal with Craven Cottage.
However, Romano indicates that the Hammers have pinpointed Palhinha as the perfect candidate to fill the void left by Declan Rice, who appears destined to depart from the club.
Romano posted on Twitter: “West Ham are preparing their first approach for Joao Palhinha. Not an easy deal with Fulham but he’s top of the list for West Ham to replace Declan Rice.”
