Sami Khedira drops Jose Mourinho hint
Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has hinted at a possible reunion with former manager Mourinho, with his contract expiring next summer, a reported by football.london.
Khedira has just over six months remaining of his deal with the Serie A giants, and has now refused to rule out one day playing under his old Real Madrid boss Mourinho.
Speaking to Sky Germany about why the Spurs boss is held in such high regard, the 33-year-old said: “Because of his personality. He is always honest, direct, clear in his mind and a great coach.
“Many people talk about him [being] too defensive but he is a winner, he is a champion. That is why he impressed me the most.”
Chelsea prepare for Rudiger sale
Chelsea are preparing to sell Antonio Rudiger in the upcoming January transfer window, according to Eurosport.
Rudiger was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham over the summer, but according to Goal, the German defender turned down moves to Spurs and West Ham United as he didn’t want to join one of the Blues’ London rivals.
However, now, the 27-year-old feels like he is being treated unfairly at Stamford Bridge – after not playing a single minute of Premier League football this season.
It will be interesting to see if Rudiger’s stance on moving to Spurs has changed at all, with the former Roma centre-back clearly not getting any game time at Chelsea.
