Everton manager Sean Dyche has brushed off concerns about his contract renewal, stating that his primary focus remains on the team’s performance. With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, speculation has arisen about his future, particularly with American businessman John Textor in a period of exclusivity to purchase the club from current owner Farhad Moshiri.
Speaking to the media, Dyche made it clear that contract talks were not a priority. “The last thing on my mind if I spoke to a new owner—if there was a new owner—would be my contract, that will sort itself out one way or another,” the former Burnley boss said.
When asked if he felt the need to discuss his future with Textor or any prospective new owner, Dyche responded bluntly: “Absolutely not, I don’t have to. These things take care of themselves.”
Instead, Dyche emphasized that his attention remains firmly on the team’s success. “My contract is the least of my concerns at the moment. The first of my concerns is the team winning football matches,” he added.
