Sean Dyche urges Everton to finalize deal for new striker amid ongoing negotiations

Everton manager, Sean Dyche, is pushing for the swift completion of the deal to sign Sporting Clube de Portugal striker Chermiti, according to reports from O Jogo and Record, relays the SW. Negotiations between Everton and the player are ongoing, and both sides are keen to finalize the move as soon as possible.

O Jogo reports that the deal for Chermiti is progressing well and could be completed “in the next few hours” due to significant progress in the negotiations. Sporting has already agreed to the transfer, and the main obstacle now lies in the discussions between Chermiti and Everton.

The striker has rejected Everton’s initial proposal, as he demands a higher salary that accurately reflects the role he will play at the Premier League club. Although excited about the opportunity to move to England, Chermiti is determined to secure a more suitable remuneration package.

However, Sean Dyche remains confident in the young striker’s abilities and is determined to see the deal through. He firmly believes in Chermiti’s potential and continues to exert pressure on the club hierarchy to expedite the transfer process. Dyche believes that signing a young talent from Portugal should not encounter any significant hurdles, especially with Sporting already agreeing to the move.

Record also confirms Chermiti’s eagerness to move to England, stating that he has already packed his bags in preparation for the switch to Goodison Park. He reportedly missed training recently to focus on completing the move to Everton. The player visited Everton’s academy to collect his belongings, signaling the impending transfer.

According to their sources, Chermiti has finalized the contractual details, and his father, who also serves as his agent, is currently ironing out the final details related to his salary and payment terms to Sporting. The agreement between Everton and Sporting is in place, and Chermiti is set to undergo a medical examination in the coming days.

As both clubs work towards completing the deal, it appears that Chermiti’s move to Everton is on the verge of becoming a reality. Everton fans can look forward to the arrival of the promising young striker, bolstering the team’s attacking options for the upcoming season.
