‘Skinny man’ – Everton talent responds as Calvert-Lewin makes fun of him

In his farewell message, Isaac Price has responded to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s playful “skinny” remark as the young midfielder departs Everton to join Standard Liege. The 19-year-old is set to move to Belgium as his contract with Everton expires, having struggled for game time at Goodison Park. Compensation will be received as part of the transfer agreement.

Renowned Everton supporter Tony Bellew expressed disbelief at the club’s decision to let Price go, but several former teammates took the opportunity to wish him luck. Dominic Calvert-Lewin couldn’t resist making a lighthearted joke at Price’s expense as he bid farewell. On Price’s Instagram departure post, which included a photo of him as a child signing his contract alongside former manager David Moyes, Calvert-Lewin left a comment:

“Good luck, skinny man! Hopefully, they have a gym over there!” In response, the teenager playfully replied, “Fingers crossed because I need it.”
