Everton manager Sean Dyche is reportedly still retaining the backing of the club’s board, despite a tumultuous start to the 2024/25 Premier League season. According to Sky Sports, the Toffees are unwavering in their support for Dyche, even as fan pressure mounts following four consecutive defeats.
Everton currently find themselves at the bottom of the league table, having scored just four goals and conceded 13 in their opening four matches. Their recent 1-1 draw with Southampton in the League Cup, followed by a penalty shootout defeat, has further exacerbated concerns. The only victory for Dyche’s side so far this season came against fourth-tier Doncaster Rovers in the previous round of the League Cup.
Sky Sports reported on social media that Everton are “continuing to back” Dyche, despite the recent setbacks and growing discontent among supporters. The Toffees’ defensive woes have been particularly evident, conceding seven goals without reply against Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur. Additionally, their inability to hold onto leads against Bournemouth and Aston Villa has further compounded their struggles.
