‘The problem is’ – Pundit pinpoints Everton struggles ahead of Leicester

According to Kevin Campbell, Everton’s lack of scoring goals is the main reason for their struggles in the Premier League, which is putting them under immense pressure before their crucial trip to Leicester, writes the GN.

Although a goalless draw at Crystal Palace had temporarily halted their two-game losing streak, the 4-1 home loss to Newcastle quickly brought back the pressure, leaving the Toffees in 19th place heading into their match on Monday night. Despite the return of Dominic Calvert-Lewin from injury, Everton only scored three goals in five top-flight games in April, which highlights their long-term attacking issue. However, a positive result against Leicester could help alleviate some of the pressure.

In an exclusive interview with Goodison News, the Sky Sports pundit stated that the problem for Everton is clear – their inability to score goals. He also mentioned that their away form hasn’t been great, which puts a lot of pressure on their home games, especially since they have faced some tough opponents.

Campbell said: “We know what the problem is – scoring goals. And the away form hasn’t been great, so you rely so much on the home form, and you’ve played against some good sides.

“It’s not always going to go to plan. Everton are in that position for a reason. The form has picked up but it’s not always going to be perfect, that’s for sure. Because there’s an imbalance in the squad. That’s what I think it is anyway.”
