According to transfer news from Birmingham Live, Tottenham Hotspur are among a host of Premier League clubs interested in signing Birmingham City’s teenage prospect Amari Miller this summer, informs ToTheLaneAndBack.
Miller is a product of the Birmingham City youth academy. The 18-year-old wide midfielder has made four appearances for the Blues’ Under-18 side in the FA Youth Cup. He broke into the first-team towards the business end of the 2020/21 campaign and went on to make five appearances, catching the eye of the onlookers with his displays. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Miller is yet to sign his first professional contract with Birmingham City, which has alerted a host of Premier League clubs to try and snare him away from the club. Among the teams that are now looking to make a move for the English youngster are Tottenham Hotspur. (h/t Birmingham Live)
Tottenham, over the years, have produced some exciting young talents from the academy and have some very impressive youngsters coming through in the likes of Dane Scarlett, Harvey White, Oliver Skipp, Alfie Devine, Dennis Cirkin among various others.
And, bolstering the youth ranks with the addition of someone like Miller, who is tipped for a bright future, would only serve the club well for years to come. However, Spurs are set to face competition from Premier League rivals Leeds United, Southampton as well as Everton for the teenage winger’s signing. (h/t Birmingham Live)
In fact, it has even been claimed that Leeds United have already acted on their interest in Miller by offering him a contract. It will be interesting to see if Spurs do make a move for the teenager before he gets snapped up by some other club.
