West Ham United want to sign Bournemouth defender amid his contract issues

According to 90min, West Ham are leading the race for the summer transfer of Bournemouth defender Jordan Zemura, who is currently facing contract issues.

The Hammers were interested in the Zimbabwe left-back last summer, following his impressive performances in the Championship that helped Bournemouth gain promotion.

He has continued to impress in the Premier League this season, featuring in 19 games. However, he was left out of the squad recently due to a contract dispute, which has made other clubs, including Leeds, Newcastle, and Aston Villa, as well as clubs in France and Germany, interested in his potential availability in the summer.

“West Ham showed an interest in signing Zemura last summer and sources have confirmed to 90min that the Hammers, who like Bournemouth are fighting for their Premier League lives, remain keen on signing the Zimbabwe international,” – according to 90min.
