‘Who knows’ – Sean Dyche refuses to rule out Everton exit

During his press conference today, Sean Dyche refrained from ruling out the possibility of his departure from Everton at the beginning of the next season, writes the LiverpoolWorld.

The manager is currently preparing his team for their most important game of the season, as they host Bournemouth at Goodison Park on Sunday. A victory in this match would secure their Premier League status, a threat that has loomed over them throughout the current season and most of the previous campaign.

While the focus remains on the outcome of the upcoming weekend, few have considered the implications for next season, particularly the potential scenario of playing in the Championship. However, a reporter brought up the reports suggesting that Dyche might not remain in charge for the start of the next season.

In response to the question regarding his presence in the following season, Dyche provided a measured yet candid reply to address these alleged reports.

“It’s fair to say interesting reports, I don’t know where they come from.

“At the end of the day, good businesses should be succession planning, I’ve got no problem with that even if they [reports] were true.

“At the end of the day, business is world wide, who knows what’ll happen next, everyone should be succession planning but I certainly won’t be too concerned about that.”
